No Such Thing is a dramaturgy company dedicated to adventurous and collaborative writing. We develop scripts and productions with artists and offer opportunities for playwrights to work with each other to create new work.
Izzy is a director, dramaturg, and producer. As a dramaturg, she is currently developing work in both the US and UK, including research and development with the immersive theatre company, Punchdrunk, and the world premiere of Lauren Gunderson's anthropology at Hampstead Theatre. As a director, she has worked with Mark Ravenhill on La Bohème and with Bill Buckhurst on The Time Traveller’s Wife. She is also an experienced TTRPG game master and world designer. Alongside her theatrical work, she is currently researching new work development and world-building strategies using TTRPG character mechanics.
Robbie is a dramaturg and producer. As a dramaturg, Robbie has developed a range of award-winning and published plays. He has worked as a reader for many of the UK’s major new writing prizes, including the Bruntwood Prize, Women’s Prize for Playwriting, and the ETPEP Award, while also managing a range of new writing projects, including the London Playwrights Development Scheme. He has a passion for accessible and collaborative dramaturgy. Robbie recently finished working with Amy Heckerling on the West End.
